I was never happy with the colors the first time around. So I mostly just monkeyed with some post production on this to give it a more misty feel. I didn't update the old file so there could be a comparison between the two.

i dig the ambition, but i gotta say i don't think you hit it just yet. while i like what you did with the soft light on the figures, i think that the shadows you've got over brandy and the elephant are too soft. they muddy up your colors. as a result i think it's messing with your depth. your objects in the foreground and the shadows they cast over the figures are too similar, and they flatten the image out.

One of my favorites from you-- since it is not a setting I am accustomed to seeing Brandy in... I did not immediately get that it was her. But now that you mention it, it is such an awesome take on her.


(maybe adding a "Beltsville" or "Liberty Meadows" silk-screened across her chest?)
